OUR SERVICES

The Community Law Centre currently serves residents of Carlisle, Allerdale and Copeland. Our advice service is delivered by appointments, drop-in sessions, telephone advice, home visits, court and tribunal representations.

Telephone Advice Line

We offer a free telephone advice line from our Carlisle office on 01228 515129 (Monday to Thursday 10am to 12:30pm and Friday 11am to 12:30pm). This telephone service is staffed by one of our specialist advisors or Solicitors. We can give advice over the telephone in many cases and will also take on cases that need our specialist advocacy and representation skills. But please note that we will only advise you if you live or work in Cumbria.

If you think that you will need an appointment or representation then it is best to call the advice line first. This will ensure that you get an appointment at the right time and that the relevant information is obtained at the start. If you have an urgent matter that needs to be dealt with before the next advice session, such as a Notice of Eviction, a tribunal deadline or another court hearing then please call our reception on 01228 515129 or drop into the Law Centre.
